Process Engineer

Full Time Position We may be Australia’s oldest dairy but we are Australia’s most innovative dairy, due to our business growth we are seeking a Process  Engineer to join our Team.Community is at the heart of what we do as we collect over 140 million litres of milk each year from more than 50 dairy farming families located in WA’s pristine South West region. All of our Brownes Dairy products are made in WA. Our CEO is from WA too. We are fiercely protective of our environment, pride ourselves on being a leader in sustainability and our free school tours program sees thousands of school children learn about the benefits of dairy too. This is a hands-on role in the field supporting the Engineering function for plant reliability, maintenance, and breakdowns.  Working with contractors and continually developing the plant process and environmental performance by delivering projects and processes to deliver the best sustainable and affordable facilities to produce the highest quality product.Role Accountability would include but not limited to:Work to manage process engineering and technical related issues in the WA Operations. Focus on environmental process and resource improvement projects.Champion professional standards in project and process engineering matters and compliance with HSE and other regulatory requirements while meeting or bettering financial performance against budgeted controllable costs.Prepare capital requests, design, and process scope documents.Ensure all projects are implemented in accordance with the site approved implementation plan.Liaising with all relevant departments within Brownes to ensure they are consulted in the development specification and implementation of capital works.Interface with suppliers and vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues and the preparation of Brownes procurement documents and contracts.Co-ordinate engineering contractors and contracts.Ensure compliance to all Brownes Policy or ProceduresParticipate in continuous improvement team/process.Ensure the Company’s quality program is implemented and monitored to meet legislative, industry and best practice standards.Strong communication skills both verbal and written to ensure our delivery is of the highest standardWe are looking for is someone who has a tertiary qualification in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role.  Must have a strong aptitude of Engineering principles with experience in the FMCG manufacturing environment.  A team player, who is well organized and proactive and will go out of their way to go the extra mile.If this sounds like the type of role you would enjoy, we would love to hear from you. Must have full working rights in AustraliaNo Applications from Agencies will be accepted at this time   Australia - WA Perth Northern Suburbs & Joondalup
