The Role

As a Supervisor in our Dairy Food Plant, you will lead and direct shift activities within the Balcatta production facility working a mix of days and afternoon shift ensuring production and products are made within specification in a safe, efficient manner utilising optimal levels of human resource and materials and orders produced in full and on time.

Role Responsibilities

  • Using lean manufacturing principals actively focus on plant operation to meet or exceed line efficiency and performance targets.
  • Promotes and actively supports all continuous improvement programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food and weights & measures standards
  • Performs work in accordance with relevant quality and environmental measurements, (eg ISO 9000, QMS, Food Safety Systems (HACCP), RMA).
  • Ensures the Company's Quality programme is implemented and monitored to meet legislative, industry and best practice standards.

  • Implement revised job level system to better reflect the required competencies required to operate equipment

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience in an FMCG environment
  • Diploma level qualification
