The Position:
The position is the first step into becoming a process operator within our Beverage Team, the operator needs to display Brownes Values and good work ethic for graduation into the process control side.
If successful in relief batching duties, training will take up to two years with sign off after four years depending on operators’ abilities.
You will be a practical and proactive problem solver, working with the Beverage process control operator to complete tasks including preparing ingredients performing quality testing procedures whilst maintaining hygiene, housekeeping and manufacturing best practice.
You will have previous experience in food manufacturing and have well developed interpersonal and communication skills to engage with the team to work together and deliver great results.
You will have knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives within a production environment
And be able to successfully liaise with other departments including logistics and engineering to ensure production schedules are met.
Qualifications and experience.
· Dairy experience
· Strong knowledge of processing responsibilities
· A team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with good numeracy and literacy skills
· A current forklift licence
· Strong commitment to health and safety standards
· Good planning, time management and communication skills.
