Brownes Dairy is Western Australia’s number one player in the dairy category.  We are market leaders in White Milk, Flavoured Milk, Yoghurt, Cream and Juice.  We are Australia’s oldest dairy, celebrating over 132 years in the dairy industry.In 2017 Brownes was awarded one of Australia and New Zealand’s Most Innovative companies for 2017 by the Australian Financial Review.Headquartered in Balcatta, we employ over 250 Western Australians and partner with over 50 dairy farmers in our South West.The RoleWe are currently seeking a Planning Manager to join our team in Balcatta.This person will have the ability to develop manufacturing plans to ensure that manufactured product is available to meet all customer requirements in full and on time.Provide leadership and Excellence in Planning for the Brownes business.Develop and maintain an operational level interface between the demand and supply sides of the business to ensure:        - Maximum production efficiency        - Minimum waste        - Minimum inventory holdings, subject to meeting customer          requirements        - Accurate production against a demand forecast        - Improved profitabilityDevelop and continuously enhance business systems and processes including the planning tools.Manage and develop the skills of Brownes’ Planning Team.Direct AccountabilitiesDeliver daily and weekly production plans for all facilities to cover forecast and any direct orders in a timely manner.Master the use and manage the configuration of Brownes ‘forecasting, DRP, MPS and MRP tools.Develop and maintain the Milk Utilization Model.Continuous development and refinement of the planning tools.Responsible for monitoring and improvement against delivery and cost KPIs set with the Manufacturing envelope.Engagement between stakeholders is paramount, you will be liaising between Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution relative to DIFOT to all customers. Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years FMCG experience in a similar role.Tertiary supply chain management qualification is desirable.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.Intermediate Excel skills.Solid leadership skills, including training, support and mentoring.Excellent organisational, time management and prioritization.Strong commitment to health and safety standards.Previous experience in the use of planning software is preferred but not essential.Ability to make time critical decisions and thrive in a fast paced environment that’s constantly evolving.If you feel that your skills and experience could be suited to this opportunity we would love to hear from you.Applications to be received by no later than close of business Friday 15 February 2019.No applications from agencies will be received at this time. The Role

We are currently seeking a Planning Manager to join our team in Balcatta.

  • This person will have the ability to develop manufacturing plans to ensure that manufactured product is available to meet all customer requirements in full and on time.
