The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their flair for continuous improvement and will see the direct results from their work in business cost savings through improving controls around pallet and crate movements. The Role

Brownes Dairy is recruiting for a newly created role as a Pallet Controller. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their flair for continuous improvement and will see the direct results from their work in business cost savings through improving controls around pallet and crate movements. You will have the opportunity to work with all levels of the business ensuring key stakeholders are aware of the improvements, progress and benefits that you are providing to Australia’s oldest dairy company.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain, implement and improve controls around pallet, pallecon and crate platform movements
  • Troubleshoot asset management issues and respond to queries promptly
  • Improve and monitor KPI reporting 
  • Oversee timely stock takes and the reconciliation process
  • Complete monthly reconciliation and provide updates
  • Schedule the hire/offboarding of platforms based on forecasting
  • Administrative tasks such as maintaining databases and processing invoices

Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative environment within warehousing/transport
  • Proven experience in successfully executing projects focusing on business improvement
  • A forklift ticket and Reach truck operation will be highly regarded
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management and Transport Management software
