We are fiercely protective of our environment, pride ourselves on being a leader in sustainability and our free school tours program sees thousands of school children learn about the benefits of dairy too.We have an opportunity to join Brownes Dairy as a Laboratory Assistant based in Brunswick. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting routine and specialised tests to ensure product safety, quality and compliance. This role plays a key part in the quality improvements for raw milk supply and finished product testing, providing support for test data maintenance, whilst maintaining laboratory accuracy, and equipment maintenance and calibrations.Key Accountabilities:Testing for raw milk and finished products to support quality control proceduresMaintenance and Calibration of laboratory equipment for daily operations.Entry of test results into Quality Management Systems ensuring timely and accurate recording for product release.Manage the sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products, to ensure efficiency of operations whilst maintaining accuracy of test methods. Maintenance of supplies required for laboratory daily operations.Organisation of the laboratory environment to ensure operational efficiency.
