The Role

The Finance Business Partner is a newly created opportunity at Brownes, providing you with an opportunity to make the role your own paired with the willingness and support of your partnering business areas. 

You will partner with the business through providing insight and key data to support our Logistics and Distribution areas. This role will partner closely and gain valuable insight to the business working with data to create actionable recommendations and optimisation opportunities. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with our General Manager – Logistics and Supply Chain and other key personnel within our Logistics and Distribution areas
  • Monitor and analyse key cost drivers e.g. freight, storage costs, labour
  • Track and report on budget variances, forecasting and historical periods
  • Prepare budget and forecasting requirements for your areas of accountability
  • Support and implement initiatives to drive efficiencies with the backing of your stakeholders 

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Practising Accountant or similar
  • Previous experience in management accounting and relationship management
  • Advanced skills in Excel and report writing – Power BI experience is desirable
