Electrical Supervisor

Brownes Dairy is an iconic West Australian fresh dairy business, dating back more than 132 years.  Our Brands are WA favourites and it is the business priority to source 100% of our milk from local WA dairy farms.  Brownes holds market leading positions in the fresh milk, flavoured milk, cream and yoghurt categories and has won various WA and National dairy awards.Our Head office is in the state we were born, Western Australia and our Electrical and Engineering Maintenance Team are based at our manufacturing site in Balcatta.If you enjoy working within a fast paced production environment, we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who will be responsible for the management of the site HV and LV electrical distribution and sub-distribution.As Electrical Supervisor you will take responsibility for your own and others health and safety according to Health and Safety legislation and work within the guidelines of the company's Health & Safety program.The Role will include:Assist in the planning and implementation of projects involving electrical work.Provide an electrical resource for all installation, start up and commissioning work for capital and maintenance projects.Provide a link between the automation and project electrical and installation work to ensure all work is planned and all site drawings are maintained and up to date.Ensure documentation and drawings for all site electrical systems are up to date.Manage all electrical contractors on site and ensure sufficient resources are allocated to all project work.Project manages capital projects as required.Be proactively involved in continuous improvement.Perform work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, quality and environmental measurements, (e.g. AS3000, ISO 9000, QMS, Food Safety Systems (HACCP, RMA).In this role it will be important to keep abreast of current and new technology applications to the business.  In line with the responsibilities of this position the successful applicant will hold the following qualifications:High Voltage TicketElectrical LicenseContractors TicketThe expectation would be that the successful applicant would have a minimum of 5 years electrical supervisory experience, good communication skills, with competent computer knowledge with required applications.  Experience with preventative maintenance systems and food processing operational experience along with a good working knowledge of PLC Programming, CITEC or SCADA, MODBUS would be preferred.What we Offer:The role is a full-time salaried position required to work flexible hours and be on call to give maximum efficiency and up-time to the manufacturing equipment, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.Plenty of free onsite parking, cafe on site, an active social club along with a range of other benefits offered to Brownes employees, are just some of the 'perks' of the job.You you think you have the skills and experience for this role we would love to hear from you.Applications from agencies will not be accepted at this time.
